Publish or Perish

If you are in professional jeopardy because your academic or scientific writing is poor, you need an author editor with extensive publishing and coaching experience.
Unlike proofreaders or copy editors, the best author editors have published many articles, essays, and reports. More than that, they have helped struggling writers like you.
Writers sometimes struggle because their formal education is poor or their first language is not English. Sometimes they struggle with a particular topic or research design. In that case, a writer needs an editor with domain or methodological expertise.
A good author editor can help at any point in the writing and publication cycle. For example, she can help plan the manuscript, diagnose problems in subsequent drafts, and suggest solutions. If an article has been rejected, she can help the writer decide what to do next.
